The City of Chesapeake is exploring design options to enhance the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail for users.  Now open to bicyclists, walkers, runners, equestrians and boaters, the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail threads through some of the most uniquely historical and ecologically-significant habitats in the U.S.

The design team invites you to share your ideas for improving the existing trail and related amenities through attending public workshops, completing comment forms and by visiting this website.
